Recruitment Manager - Golden Apple Foundation

Recruitment & Relationship Manager, Accelerators Program ​Salaried / Exempt, Full-time Position

Summary: The Golden Apple Foundation’s Recruitment and Relationship Manager will be responsible for the recruitment and relationship management with Institutions of Higher Education to launch the Golden Apple Accelerators program. The manager will recruit seniors in college, as well as those with Bachelor’s degrees to join a residency program and concurrent teacher licensure program that will prepare future teachers for teaching jobs in southern, central, and western Illinois.

Reports to:​ Director of Recruitment

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

● Develop relationships with Institutions of Higher Education (IHE) to facilitate access to senior-level students in targeted areas that may desire to teach in southern, central, or western Illinois.

● Maintain relationships with partner districts to facilitate the recruitment of adults with Bachelor’s degrees who will return to those target communities to teach.

● Develop and manage recruitment strategies and processes to generate applications from qualified candidates to meet goals for volume and quality.

● Attend, schedule and determine coverage for campus visits, career fairs and information sessions throughout southern, central, and western Illinois.

● Design strategies and implement initiatives to reach prospective candidates via all relevant multi-media channels

● Organize and coordinate the selection process for Accelerators.

● Support the transition of newly inducted Accelerators into the coursework from partner IHEs.

● Utilize data and analytics to monitor the applicant flow through the admissions process at the IHE and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

● Other duties as assigned by the Golden Apple Foundation, Director of Recruitment or Chief of Staff.

Skills & Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s Degree required

● Ability to work independently with strong problem solving skills

● Ability to communicate and interact effectively verbally and in-writing with team members and management

● Possess clear and concise oral and written communication skills

● Demonstrate organizational skills, ability to follow processes and attention to detail

● Strong computer and Internet proficiency, including Microsoft Office, social media tools and database applications (i.e., FileMaker Pro, AcademicWorks knowledge desired)

● Strong entrepreneurial attitude including drive for results and proven ability to stay focused on goals

● Previous experience working in a fast-paced, quick turnaround environment

● Must have a valid Driver’s license

● Familiarity with rural communities in Illinois
