University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Transfer Admissions Counselor Job Posting

The Student Services Coordinator, with a working title of Transfer Admissions Counselor, will report to the Assistant Director of Admissions. This position plays a very important role in the recruitment and outreach of the Admissions Office. Our goal is to increase the number of applicants to the University and enroll the most talented student body. This staff member will meet with prospective transfer students and their families, various groups on and off campus, alumni, and other contacts to promote the opportunities offered at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Particular attention will be given to targeted populations that add diversity to the student body, including academically talented students, underrepresented minority students and non-residents. A significant part of the recruitment process will be establishing and nurturing relationships that serve as a conduit for students to learn about UW-La Crosse. This staff member will collaborate with other Admissions Office staff members, working together to coordinate recruitment activities. Travel is required, especially during the fall and spring recruitment seasons. All responsibilities shall be executed while demonstrating a commitment to Inclusive Excellence.
