Knox College - Recruitment Technology Specialist

The Position
Reporting to the Associate Director of Admission, the Recruitment Technology Specialist serves as a primary administrator of the Slate Customer Relationship Management system used the recruitment and admission of prospective students.

You’ll serve as our functional expert on the Slate system, leveraging the capabilities of the system to support both efficient internal business processes and a compelling experience for external users, including prospective students, parents, and other constituents as they engage with the admission office.

You’ll identify creative solutions and incorporate new processes to improve workflows, production, security, and the efficiency of our systems; develop reports for admission planning and analysis; and ensure the integrity of admission data and systems. The position also works internally with other offices, including the Information Technology Services and Communications offices, and campus systems (e.g. Jenzabar CX, FrontRush, Ingeniux CMS) as well as externally with third-party vendors (e.g. Common Application, Coalition for College) to transfer and integrate data resources between platforms and systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Demonstrated experience with a CRM and relational databases; Slate experience is highly desirable
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XSLT, and SQL, or demonstrated ability to learn
  • Ability to access, manage, and analyze data using different databases and file formats
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and excellent customer service and systems aptitude
  • A high level of organization, attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities
  •  Ability to work successfully as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment
  • Patience and a desire to learn
  • Knowledge of college admission and student recruitment is desirable
